Who doesn’t want to try some coconut flan from Liverpool’s backup goalkeeper?

There is something unifying about this current COVID-19 crisis, in that all of our lives—rich and poor—are impacted in some way. Sure, those impacts are not equal and on a grand scale, economic disparity, especially at the very top, has only widened during this time.

Although most Premier League footballers are very wealthy by any non-Bezos standards, many are from working-class backgrounds, and their relatively short careers mean that our favorite players are also suffering during this time. Again, not as much as you or me: we don’t have Jurgen Klopp on the other end of our Zoom chats, and our self-isolation homes probably aren’t as large or cozy as those of our favorite footballers.

Regardless, Liverpool’s backup goalkeeper Adrian has been finding ways to keep mentally and physically fit, and he recorded a few tips for the LFC social media team to put out.

Among other things, you’ll get to see Adrian dressed up like Thor as he plays Avengers with the kids. You’ll also get to see his attempts at baking, and pimping James Milner’s book Ask a Footballer.

Is Adrian really reading Milly’s book? Probably not. But it’s a nice gesture from the backup keeper who is already a cult hero. So sit back and let Adrian es’plain how he’s been spending his time away from football.
