Kingsley Coman is said to be leaving the German giants.
Kingsley Coman may be ready to leave Bayern Munich, according to The Mirror. The French winger was linked to Liverpool over the summer – because every winger was linked to Liverpool over the summer. And now the rumours have ramped up once again.
Coman has a contract with the German giants until 2023, but he’s said to feel unappreciated and under-utilized with the club and looking towards the door.
Coman’s unique claim to fame is that he’s won a league title in every season he’s played as a professional player. Since his senior debut in 2013, Coman has played for PSG, Juventus and Bayern Munich. It’s quite the impressive set of clubs, though he’s never played a huge role in any side he’s been a part of.
If Coman does intend to leave, reports are that Chelsea is also in the hunt for the French player. Coman recently underwent heart surgery to fix a minor cardiac arrhythmia.
According to Bayern manager Julian Nagelsmann, “There are two strands that activate the sinus node. One of them was cut off so that there would be no additional blow. Sometimes he had less air for a short time and was less productive. That’s why we did a long-term ECG [electrocardiogram] and found something that could be fixed quickly.”
That could be a potential complication, if indeed LIverpool are interested in snapping up the 25-year-old in the future.
