The Reds will commence this year’s Carabao Cup campaign at Carrow Road.
It’s Norwich to kick-off yet another competition. Liverpool FC were drawn recent opponents Norwich City in the third round of the Carabao Cup. Liverpool were given a bye for the previous rounds due to their involvement in European competition. They will travel to Norwich’s Carrow Road in the week commencing September 20.
Expect a greatly changed lineup from the one that took on Daniel Farke’s side two weeks ago, as Jürgen Klopp usually rotates the team for the domestic cup competitions. The lineup should see a mix of some usual bench names such as Takumi Minamino, James Milner, and Curtis Jones making the starting lineup for a change, with a number of youngsters making the bench. As mentioned yesterday, there are already murmurs of youngsters such as Kaide Gordon making his senior debut for the club in this fixture.
Liverpool are eight-time winners of the competition, tied for most with Manchester City.
