The Reds will welcome the Gunners to Anfield between matches against Tottenham and away to Aston Villa.

Liverpool faced off against lower league opposition in Round Three of the League Cup, drawing MK Dons and allowing Jürgen Klopp to send out the kids as part of a wholly changed eleven that saw multiple players handed their senior debuts.

The manager may have a slightly harder decision to make when it comes to player selection for Round Four, with Liverpool quickly finding out this evening that they will be welcoming Arsenal to Anfield for the next stage of England’s second cup competition.

The game will be played between matches at home against Tottenham on Sunday, October 27th and away to Aston Villa on Saturday, November 2nd, making it almost certain that, whoever plays in it, they will host Arsenal on Wednesday, October 30th.

And, at least for our part, we’ll be hoping Klopp mostly sticks with the youth for the next roun—or at least gives another chance to the likes of Harvey Elliott and Rhian Brewster given how impressive the two young forwards were against MK Dons tonight.
