The Liverpool stuff begins again now that international football is—at least temporarily—out of the way.

Liverpool’s pre-season training camp in Austria begins today, where the players will gather to prepare for the 2021-22 season. The full gallery on liverpoolfc.com shows jovial sights of players who were not involved in international football, arriving at the camp which is situated on the outskirts of Salzburg, Austria.

Seen among the arrivals are Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Kostas Tsimikas and Adrian. Jurgen Klopp is also photographed, looking like his usual cheerful self.

The players who reported for international footballing duties will be given an extended break. This includes Thiago, Roberto Firmino, Fabinho, Alisson, and Jordan Henderson. The latter four will be the last to arrive, given that the Brazilian Reds exited the Copa America as runners-up to Argentina two nights ago, while Jordan Henderson won the same honour in the Euro 2020 tournament last night, finishing second to Italy.

Liverpool’s preseason plans will most likely involve training and a few friendly games with other European teams, as done in previous years. This will be new signing Ibrahima Konate’s introduction to full training with Jurgen Klopp’s side, and the player has so far made it evident that he is thrilled to be joining the club with an elaborate shirt-reveal music video.
