It was a very very dramatic game.
A very dramatic Copa America tie between Brazil and Colombia saw Liverpool FC striker Roberto Firmino come off the subs bench to score the equaliser. Brazil, on a nine-game winning streak, went behind for the first time in eight games after just 10 minutes when Colombia’s Luis Diaz scored a sensational overhead kick.
In need of some much-needed creativity, Bobby was summoned off the bench as play resumed after half-time, coming on for Éverton Ribeiro. It paid off as on hand to nod home a header with 12 minutes to tie up the game. The goal was not without controversy, the Colombians protested the goal, angry that referee Nestor Pitana did not halt the game after the ball hit him in the build-up.
The insanity led to a whopping 10 minutes of stoppage time being played. Casemiro then headed home from a corner in the 100th minute. Brazil now has three wins from three at the tournament. Fellow Liverpool players Alisson and Fabinho were unused substitutes at the game.
